Now, I couldn't forget Cat in this, and now that I have a little time to sit down and do some more, I had to write on her. I first got to know her when things were going bad with Cult, and he'd disappeared and then ended up in the hospital after being shot. She e-mailed me quickly when she saw there was trouble, and it really was very nice to have such great support. She proved herself to be a very good friend and support system then, and she has continued to prove that very thing.

The best thing about her, I think, is that she's so quick to care. She hardly knew me at all, and yet jumped to my virtual side when things got bad. Things kept being bad for some time, and other bad things happened as well. She didn't once think about backing off and forgetting about me, and in fact did all that she could to help. I don't know how much time she spent researching things on the internet for me, but I can't thank her enough for investing that time. She's been especially cool when it comes to Cult, who benefits even more than I do from knowing that someone cares, even someone he's never met and will likely never meet.

So yeah. She's been there through bad and through good, and proven herself a stalwart and loyal friend. I will meet her someday, come hell or high water. I can only wish her the best, because she deserves all the happiness in the world.
