Well! Today is definitely a banner day! I can see clearly, I don't have to squint to see the words on the monitor. I have such a cool mom. Soft contact lenses rule, especially compared to those evil gas permeables that I used to use. ::shudders:: And after we got my contact lenses she took us to lunch at Denny's, where I was brutally assaulted by a glass of root beer! Yes. It was cold on my lap. Jason thought it was funny, and my mom lost a few points with her laughter. Laughing at my cold misfortune was cruel. But I forgive her, for I can see. For the first time in years. Clearer vision has many many benefits. Woo.

Awww. I guess I'll just have to be sad and depressed whilst spying as well as thirsty. But I can't resist spying, so any price shall be paid. Well, except actually drinking Coke. Makes my stomach all upset,you know.

I kept blinking like an idiot when I tried to get tested for contact lenses, so the optician couldn't get them in.

After about 20 minutes, I just told him not to bother.

Darn. I couldn't help it, damn it.

Well, it's true that contacts aren't for everyone. But I can't do glasses, they make the bridge of my nose go crazy. So I take what I can get and I do like being able to see clearly for the first time in years.
