Okay folks, I managed to get it done tonight even. Here you shall view the first pictures of the non-alien looking Madison. Yes, I'm in one of them. I tried to avoid it, but got talked into posting it. Ah well. Enjoy the cuteness tha is Madison!

Taken mere minutes after she was born. I look so with it!

Taken today, with the ever curious Calliope looking on. Someday the dog will get used to having her around. Maybe. Until then, she contents herself with licking Madison's head. Strange little dog.

Here she is with big sister Becky. Hey, Becky doesn't fight having pictures taken so easily this way. I have a method for getting them now!

Same as above, but add Lucifer the cat to the equation. Note that Calliope is still present!

Closeup time. I couldn't resist. She looked so cute on my lap!



So there they are. Admire, compliment, fall in love. There will be more. New parents are good like that, right Heather and Matt?

Gayle you look terrific after the baby arrived. My parents' dogs are the same, esecially one of them, just follows Teagan around like it's her job to mother and protect the baby, constantly trying to get a good look at her to make sure she's okay...

Calliope is a silly dog, but I think she's going to be nice and protective. After all, Madison is the new puppy on the block.

Oh wow. . . all my joking about podlings, chest bursters, zombie babies[0], dinner, and linoleum lizards aside for a moment, she's a cute little thing. What a bundle of joy to remind everyone what's important in life.

I'm glad that the pictures can make people feel that way. That's the wonderful thing about babies. I look at her and I feel that things are all going to be just fine. Little does she know just how important her mere existence is.
