Party Day Pics!

Here are a few of the pictures I got of Madison on her party day. We went to Wonderland and she had a great time running around. I love how cute she looks in that little dress!

Here she is chasing one of her balloons. She was fascinated with them all and still has a bunch left over.

She caught the red one and almost looks like she got caught in some guilty act, by the look on her face.

She was totally and completely fascinated with the texture of the red mats that were in various places around Wonderland, usually in front of doors. She spent quite a bit of time on this one just watching it as she felt the texture on her feet and at one point on her knees as she walked around on them.

And the final one. Here she is with a little girl who apparently found her quite fascinating. She petted her on several occasions and just thought she was worthy of following around. They're both sitting on one of the dance machines there and at one point Madison was boogying back and forth to the demo music that came out of it. I seriously need to take something like a bajillion batteries with me when I want to use my camera. They run out far too quickly! I missed so many cute shots.

Ah well. At least I got some good ones!

I have two pair of rechargable NIMH batteries and I bring the charger with me whenever I have my camera. When I run down one pair I swap it for the other, and then I usually ask the place where I'm at if I can borrow an outlet for twenty minutes or so.

This was the lesson learned after I saw Grendel and only got six shots 'cuz my batteries shat themselves. :\

It's so wonderful at this age when kids can really appreciate everything around them, seeing the world with fresh eyes. You could give them a large cardboard box or a balloon and they're very happy to play for hours.

I'm considering motherhood :-)
